When setting up the initial formats, the only size visible in the Images Control Column is the Master Page. Once you’re happy with the Master Layouts, click the Generate button on the main SizeIM toolbar. This will populate the Ad Sizes panel with thumbnails representing eachAd Size present in any profiles associated with your project. Clicking on these thumbnails will open that size on the Canvas for editing.
Each generated Ad Size will contain the content that was added to it’s corresponding format, and will be laid out according to whether it is to be treated as a banner, square or tower, as defined in the Profile to which it belongs.
At this stage you can still go back to your Master Layouts to make changes. These changes will then be applied to the other Ad Sizes after clicking the Generate button again. Optionally, you can choose to generate only one set of formats by clicking the Caret icon on the Generate button and selecting Square, Tower or Banner.
You can still add or remove profiles from your project at this stage by clicking on the Project Settings cog. Your profiles are listed under the ‘Output’ tab. Add or remove profiles using the checkboxes and click ‘OK’. Clicking the Generate button will repopulate the Sizes panel with the sizes associated with the current set of selected profiles.
You can prevent a particular size from updating when generating by opening the Page Settings panel and checking the box labelled ‘Ignore Regeneration’. If, at some point, you would like to include that size in regeneration again, the checkbox can be deselected.
